ayam penyet ria @ dataran mentari, sunway
good indon food is hard to come by and i first discovered the cuisines of our neighboring country (home to fellow illegal imigrants/construction labors/maids etc) when i chanced upon waroeng penyet @ the curve (visit #1, visit #2). i've passed by ayam ria penyet a million times but have never had the chance to pay it a visit, until...
one fine day.
es cendol (ice cendol)- rm3
ayam penyet (mashed chicken)- rm7
empal penyet (fried sweet beef)- rm6.50
bakso kuah (beef ball soup)- rm4.50
the ayam penyet was tastefully done! the empal penyet was very tender and delicious! the bakso opens up like a smile (reminds me alittle of those 'fatt koh' that opens up when steamed and those paper thingy we fold and played when we were in school?) the es cendol was unique (pineapples, mashed green beans, kidney beans, cincau, cendol) but i prefer our malacca cendol more (*oh how i miss the durian cendol...*).
overall, i think this shop is worth a try and food generally taste better than waroeng penyet's!
p/s: will be in singapore for the weekend! stay safe and be good ya'll!
