obligatory side dishes
after pasta de gohan, calvin the hungry monster wasn't too full (maybe the portions of pasta speaks for itself) so we went for a 2nd round of dinner at che go korean bbq.
the 6 obligatory side dishes in any korean place is complimentary (not sure if it's refillable as we didn't ask for any). the beauty of any korean food joints is the sides which are actually enough to fill you up before the mains even arrived/cooked. there were spinach (yum!), fishcakes, bittergourd pickles (yuck!), kimchi, potato salad and lotus.
bbq bulgogi (beef)- rm45.00
we had the bbq bulgogi and it was wonderfully done. very yum and the gravy/soup was very flavourful and sweet due to the cabbage and juices from the beef slices. the middle picture shows the 'sauce/gravy' that was added in and had strands of glass noodles in it. the outcome was a very satisfying 2nd dinner.
:-D
happy wesak day! don't eat beef tomorrow ;-)
